After losing 4-1 to Chelsea in the Europa Conference League final, Real Betis president Angel Haro was not impressed with Sevilla's congratulatory post to Chelsea's manager, Enzo Maresca.
Sevilla's post read, "Congratulations to our beloved Enzo Maresca on his first European title as a manager." However, Haro didn't seem to appreciate the gesture.
In an interview, Haro stated, "I haven't seen it, but they're currently in a different situation that doesn't interest me. We're focused on growing and doing well next year, while they're in a different situation altogether."
When asked if Betis would have congratulated Chelsea, Haro replied, "If it were up to me, no, but I don't know, if there's someone in the organization who did, I wouldn't like it. However, I'd like to congratulate Sevilla for staying in the Primera Division this year."
