Before Yun left Daejeon to join Brighton, Hwang Seon-hong shared his thoughts about the young player's potential. During their last game together in the K-League, Daejeon drew 0-0 against Gimcheon Sangmu. After the game, Hwang said that Yun still has a lot of room to grow and develop as a player.
Although Hwang Seon-hong wanted to give Yun more time to improve, he was a bit disappointed with the player's current condition. However, he is happy to see Yun take this opportunity to play in Europe and become a world-class player, not just in Korea.
The timing of Yun's departure might be unfortunate, but Hwang Seon-hong believes the young player did his best while playing for Daejeon. He wishes Yun all the best and hopes he will perform well in his new team.
Yun will join Brighton for their preseason training and then a decision will be made about a potential loan move for the new season.
