Carsley has committed to staying with the team and will be in charge until the end of the 2027 European Championship. As preparations for the 2025 Euros in Slovakia begin, he expressed his reasons for staying with the Three Lions.
"I've just signed an extension," Carsley said. "I've got the Euros and then the next campaign. My future is definitely with the FA."
Carsley emphasized that his priority is to win the Euros and won't be distracted from the task at hand. He also expressed his delight at extending his time with the FA, citing the opportunity to work with a talented young group and help develop them on the international stage.
Carsley's immediate priority is the summer's Uefa U21 Euros in Slovakia, where England's Under-21 side will face Czechia, Slovenia, and Germany. The first team will also be in action, opening their campaign against Czechia before further Group B games against Slovenia and Germany.
Carsley will be busy as he continues his work with the national side, but he remains focused on the task at hand.
